Are the e-bikes we sell road-legal?

Yes. All e-bikes sold by Cycle Apex comply with UK EAPC (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle) regulations. They are limited to 250W motor power and 15.5mph assisted speed, meaning no licence, insurance, or registration is required.

Ordering and Payment

How can I place an order?

What if I want to make changes to my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes. We'll do our best to accommodate requests before your order is dispatched. Once dispatched, changes may not be possible.

What payment options do you provide?

Do you offer instalment payments or pay later options?

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

What is the shipping policy?

We offer UK delivery on all orders. Delivery times and costs are displayed at checkout. Large items such as e-bikes may require a specialist courier and additional lead time.

Do you ship overseas?

Currently we ship within the UK only. We hope to expand to additional regions in the future.

What is your returns & exchanges policy?

Warranty & Guarantee

Do you offer a warranty on your products?

Yes. All e-bikes sold through Cycle Apex come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing defects. Battery and electrical components are covered for 12 months. Wear and tear items (tyres, brake pads, chains) are not covered.

How do I claim warranty?

Contact us via our contact page with your order number and a description of the issue. We will liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

Servicing & Maintenance

Where can I get my e-bike serviced?

We recommend using a local qualified bike mechanic or an authorised service centre for your e-bike brand. Please refer to your manufacturer's website for a list of authorised service locations.

What if I can't reach an authorised service centre?

Any qualified bike mechanic should be able to service the mechanical components of your e-bike. For electrical or motor issues, please contact us and we will advise on the best course of action.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

My e-bike is showing an error code. What should I do?

Please refer to your user manual first. If the issue persists, contact us with your order number and the error code displayed and we will assist you.

My e-bike part broke. What should I do?

Contact us and we will help identify whether the issue is covered under warranty or advise on replacement parts.

Are the batteries safe?

Yes. All batteries used in our e-bikes meet EU and UK safety standards and have been rigorously tested.

Why am I getting less range than advertised?

Range figures are based on ideal conditions. Factors such as rider weight, terrain, temperature, speed, and assist level all affect real-world range. Riding at lower assist levels and on flat terrain will maximise your range.

My battery performance has decreased. What should I do?

Battery capacity naturally reduces over time with use. If you notice a significant drop in performance, please contact us — this may be covered under warranty.
